Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Site Manager to oversee and manage the electrical installations for an exciting residential and commercial development project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all electrical activities on-site, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors, providing clear direction and support to ensure high-quality work standards.

  • Coordinate with the project management team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all departments.

  • Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

  • Ensure all electrical works comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations, ensuring adherence to electrical codes and regulations.

  • Monitor progress against the project timeline, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate records, including work logs, materials used, and safety reports.

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing progress updates and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card

  • SSSTS / SMSTS 

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or similar role, with

  • experience in both residential and commercial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and health & safety standards.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and interact with clients.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.

  • Electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
