​Electrical Supervisor 

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a commercial construction project on a freelance basis. The project may include fit-out, shell & core, office, retail, or mixed-use developments.

This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality on site.

Role Overview

As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works on site, ensuring installations are completed safely, to specification, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical operatives and subcontractors on site

• Read, interpret, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs

• Carry out regular inspections and quality control of electrical installations

• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trade supervisors

• Enforce health & safety standards, including RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work

• Review and manage testing & inspection paperwork and commissioning documentation

• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and report/escalate where required

• Assist with snagging, defect resolution, and final handover documentation

• Maintain accurate daily and weekly site reports, records, timesheets, and material usage

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor

• Proven supervisory experience on commercial or industrial projects

• Valid ECS Gold Card

• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
