Job description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our client's team, overseeing a range of projects across commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare sectors. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in electrical supervision and a strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Supervision: Oversee and manage electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on-site, ensuring all work meets the required standards and timelines.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of electricians and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations, including conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Quality Control: Monitor and inspect all electrical work to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
Client Interaction: Liaise with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
Resource Management: Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure materials and equipment are available on-site as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 3 Years of Experience: Proven experience in supervising electrical projects, particularly in the commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare sectors.
Relevant Certifications: Hold relevant electrical certifications and qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition), and City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent.
Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify potential issues on-site and implement solutions quickly to keep projects on track.
Health and Safety Awareness: In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the electrical industry.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to adapt to changing project demands and timelines.
Additional Requirements:
Full UK Driving License: Must hold a valid UK driving license.
Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel to various project sites as required.
