Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough electrical inspections and testing on both domestic and commercial properties, with a focus on larger-scale commercial projects.

• Conduct periodic testing of electrical installations in commercial environments and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards (e.g., 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations).

• Interpret test results and provide detailed reports for commercial clients, highlighting any potential issues or areas that need improvement.

• Conduct electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in commercial properties, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Work alongside project managers to ensure the timely completion of electrical inspections and testing on commercial sites.

• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and the relevant safety regulations for commercial environments.

• Provide professional advice and recommendations to commercial clients regarding electrical safety and system upgrades.

• Assist in the training and development of junior staff and apprentices on commercial projects when required.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs for commercial clients.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (Essential).

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (Essential).

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification (Essential).

• Previous experience in inspection and testing, with a strong emphasis on commercial projects.

• Experience with large-scale commercial electrical systems and installations.

• Strong understanding of commercial electrical regulations and standards.

• Full UK driving license.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with commercial clients.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on commercial projects.
