About Us: We are a reputable electrical services company specializing in both domestic and commercial electrical systems. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician with expertise in inspection and testing, particularly for commercial projects. Join our growing team and play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier electrical services for our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough electrical inspections and testing on both domestic and commercial properties, with a focus on larger-scale commercial projects. 
- Conduct periodic testing of electrical installations in commercial environments and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards (e.g., 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations). 
- Interpret test results and provide detailed reports for commercial clients, highlighting any potential issues or areas that need improvement. 
- Conduct electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in commercial properties, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
- Work alongside project managers to ensure the timely completion of electrical inspections and testing on commercial sites. 
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and the relevant safety regulations for commercial environments. 
- Provide professional advice and recommendations to commercial clients regarding electrical safety and system upgrades. 
- Assist in the training and development of junior staff and apprentices on commercial projects when required. 
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs for commercial clients. 
Requirements:
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (Essential). 
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (Essential). 
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification (Essential). 
- Previous experience in inspection and testing, with a strong emphasis on commercial projects. 
- Experience with large-scale commercial electrical systems and installations. 
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical regulations and standards. 
- Full UK driving license. 
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with commercial clients. 
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on commercial projects.
