ELECTRICIANS MATE ROLE AVAILABLE IN GLASGOW

COMMERCIAL PROJECT

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrician's Mate to join our team on a large-scale commercial project in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and work alongside experienced electricians on a high-profile commercial development. As an Electrician's Mate, you will assist in a variety of tasks including installation, maintenance, and general electrical support.

Electricians Mate Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems and components for a commercial project.

  • Support the electrical team with the preparation and delivery of materials to the work areas.

  • Ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are safely stored and readily available for the electricians.

  • Work closely with the

    Electricians

    to carry out general site duties such as cable pulling, tray installation, and conduit bending.

  • Help maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols on-site.

  • Assist in testing and inspecting electrical installations and equipment under the supervision of the

    Electricians.

  • Ensure that work areas are kept tidy and that electrical components are organized and in good condition.

Electricians Mate Key Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card

  • Previous experience as an

    Electrician’s Mate

    or in a similar role within the construction or electrical sector is preferred.

  • Good understanding of basic electrical principles and construction site practices.

  • A proactive and hardworking attitude, with a willingness to learn from experienced

    Electricians.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with team members and site supervisors.
