​My client are a civil engineering contractor with over 50 years experience in the civil engineering market. They are looking to onboard a foreman to help deliver highway and infrastructure projects across the UK. Accommodation is provided by our client. 

Foreman responsibilities:

• Working closely alongside and reporting to the project manager and contracts manager.

• Site supervision.

• Daily briefings.

• Record keeping.

• Managing plant, labour and materials.

• Managing health and safety. 

• Progress reports.

• Liaising with the client, subcontractors and local authorities. 

Foreman requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

• SSSTS/ SMSTS.

• First aid.

• NRSWA - Desirable.

• Experience with highways, drainage and civils. 

• Full UK driving licence. 

• Ability to work away from home.

• IT literate.
