​I am working alongside a civil engineering principal contractor. They are looking to onboard a general foreman for new framework kicking off in Middlesex. The scope of works you will be responsible for managing will include groundwork, buried services, drainage and reinforced concrete works. 

General foreman responsibilities: 

• General management of all construction and civil engineering activities.

• Daily allocation of plant, labour, and materials.

• Coordination of site activities, including subcontractors.

• Management of the workforce on-site to ensure safe working methods and minimal environmental impact.

• Ensuring deliveries are stored in a safe area to prevent injury to the public and staff and to avoid plant damage.

• Ensuring the correct PPE is available and used.

• Assisting in method statement production.

General foreman requirements: 

• Right to work in the UK.

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

• CSCS card.

• SMSTS.

• First aid.

• HSG47.

• Experience with buried services and utilities.

• IT literate.

• Full UK driving licence.
