My client is a Tier 1 M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial schemes across Cambridgeshire. The role will involve managing mechanical packages on large-scale developments, working across several projects simultaneously.

Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing the delivery of mechanical packages across multiple commercial projects.

• Coordinating site teams, Mechanical Supervisors, and subcontractors.

• Overseeing programme, quality, and health & safety performance across all schemes.

• Managing design coordination, technical submissions, and procurement activities.

• Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal commercial teams.

• Ensuring QA, commissioning, and handover documentation is completed to a high standard.

• Identifying and resolving technical and programme risks across the portfolio of projects.

• Attending client, progress, and coordination meetings.

Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on Tier 1 commercial projects.

• Background working for a Tier 1 M&E or Mechanical Contractor.

• Mechanical trade or engineering qualification.

• SMSTS or equivalent.

• Strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge of building services.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
