Job description

​We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join our team for an exciting residential/new build project. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical elements of the project, ensuring that all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other related systems for residential new build projects.

  • Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure mechanical systems are installed on time and within budget.

  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

  • Review and approve mechanical drawings and plans.

  • Manage and monitor mechanical works in accordance with the project schedule.

  • Provide guidance and technical support to subcontractors and site operatives.

  • Report on the progress of mechanical works to senior management.

  • Address any issues or delays promptly, resolving them in a proactive and cost-effective manner.

  • Ensure proper documentation of all mechanical work and reports.

Key Requirements:

  • SSSTS / SMSTS

  • CSCS card

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, ideally on residential/new build projects.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Understanding of health, safety, and quality standards.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
