​My client are a national earthworks and civils contractor. They are looking to onboard a Project manager due to an increase in their order book. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge of earthworks.

Project manager responsibilities: 

• Senior manager with daily responsibility for multiple schemes up to £5million

• Interface with client

• Overall responsibility for Staff & Heavy Plant Resources on Multiple Schemes

• Commercial Management

• Appointment and management of sub-contractors

• Preparation and implementation of ITP

• Overseeing Engineering requirements

• Programming

• H&S Management

Project manager requirements: 

• Driving Licence (required)

• NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction (preferred)

• First Aid Certification (required)

• CSCS Manager (preferred)

• SMSTS (preferred)

• Street Works Card (preferred)

• Construction Site Management Level 6 Diploma (preferred)

• Asbestos Awareness (preferred)

• Degree Civil Engineering (preferred)

• Temporary Works Coordinator Training (preferred)

• Appointed Person Lifting Operations (preferred)

• Construction Design Management (preferred)

• DBS Check (required)
