​Senior Engineer – Highways

Location: Northampton
Duration: 18 months
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £350 – £400 per day (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to work on a major highways scheme in Northampton. This is a long-term contract offering 18 months of work with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day site engineering duties on a highways project

Setting out, quality assurance, and ensuring works meet specification

Managing subcontractors and supervising site activities

Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times

Liaising with site management, designers, and the client team

Supporting delivery of works to programme and budget

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on highways/infrastructure schemes

Strong setting-out and technical capability

Valid CSCS card (essential)

SMSTS and First Aid (preferred)

Ability to work independently and lead site engineering activities
