​RTL Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent / Senior Site Agent to lead the delivery of a marine civils package in Taunton.

This role requires proven experience managing marine works, with strong leadership and delivery capability in a live construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site construction operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery

• Manage subcontractors and workforce teams, driving progress and programme performance

• Managing a team of engineers, foreman, supervisors and a land gang  and one gang on the barge. 

• Support collaboration across engineering, commercial, and planning functions

• Ensure all works comply with H&S legislation, RAMS, permits, and environmental requirements as well as.

• Review and monitor technical documentation, drawings, and design queries and early warnings 

Requirements

• Proven management experience within marine civils / coastal works / waterways / jetty / marine infrastructure

• Strong understanding of temporary works, marine safety, and specialist marine construction techniques

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
