​A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee the delivery of a major highways scheme in Cambridge. This is a fast-paced project with strong potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme

• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

• Produce, review and approve RAMS, permits and daily site reports

• Maintain full compliance with HSEQ and CDM requirements

• Liaise regularly with the Project Manager, local authorities and other stakeholders

• Monitor progress, address site issues and maintain cost, quality and programme control

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Agent on highways or civil engineering projects

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid

• NEC contract experience beneficial

• Able to start immediately

• Eligible to work on a CIS or Ltd basis

Offer

• £460–£550 per day

• Outside IR35

• CIS or Ltd

• 8-month contract with extension opportunities

• Supportive project team and established contractor
