​Site Engineer – Highways & Infrastructure – Swindon
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Rate: £300 – £350 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: 2 Years

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to support a major Highways and Infrastructure scheme based in Swindon. This long-term project offers stability and the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile development over the next two years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways, drainage, and earthworks

• Coordinating with subcontractors and site management to ensure efficient delivery

• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and health & safety requirements

• Keeping accurate records including as-builts, QA documentation, and progress reports

• Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with engineering input and technical queries

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects

• Strong setting out skills using GPS, total station, and AutoCAD

• Familiar with CDM regulations and site safety standards

• CSCS card (essential)

• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• Full UK driving licence
