Role Overview:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering site-based engineering functions, ensuring works are carried out safely, accurately, and to programme. This role involves working on earthworks, drainage, foundations, and substructures, primarily across Nottinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee works relating to earthworks, drainage, foundations, and substructures.
Manage subcontractors and coordinate on-site operations.
Quantify and order materials accurately and efficiently.
Ensure works are completed to the programme and to high-quality standards.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Promote and enforce Health & Safety and environmental compliance on-site.
Contribute to continual improvement through knowledge sharing and best practices.
Support the maintenance of IMS, company policies, and procedures.
About You:
Self-motivated and accountable, with a proactive approach to site management.
Confident working to deadlines and motivating team members to meet key targets.
Experience & Requirements:
Degree in Construction Engineering & Management or related field.
5+ years of site engineering experience.
Strong understanding of adoptable drainage and roads.
Residential and/or commercial project experience (preferred).
Proficient in AutoCAD and Total Station.
Good IT skills including MS Word, Excel, and project planning tools.
Full UK driving licence.
