​Job Title: Site Engineer – Highways (8-Week Contract)

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an upcoming highways project based in Swindon. This is an 8-week contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team on a fast-paced civil engineering scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for roads, paving, and drainage

• Carrying out QA checks and maintaining accurate records

• Producing as-built surveys and reports

• Liaising with site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered to specification and on schedule

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards on site

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or similar civil engineering projects

• Proficient in the use of setting out equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station)

• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications

• Ability to carry out QA documentation and as-built records

• CSCS card and relevant engineering qualification

Rate: Competitive day rate (CIS or LTD)
