​Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major highways infrastructure project in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a 12-month contract with highly competitive rates, operating outside of IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying on a large-scale highways project

• Ensuring accurate technical delivery of works in line with project drawings and specifications

• Liaising with subcontractors, site supervisors, and project management teams

• Maintaining QA documentation and as-built records

• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or heavy civils projects

• Proficient with surveying equipment (e.g., Leica, Trimble)

• Strong understanding of civil engineering specifications and site procedures

• CSCS card (essential)

• SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid (preferred but not essential)
