​Job Title: Site Engineer – Substation Project
Location: Norfolk
Rate: £280 – £340 per day (DOE)
Duration: 3–4 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a short-term contract role on a substation project based in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on a fast-paced energy infrastructure scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for substation civil works including foundations, ducting, and concrete bases

• Managing quality control and ensuring work is delivered in accordance with specifications and drawings

• Providing technical support and liaising with the project manager and site team

• Maintaining site records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or substation projects

• Proficient with setting out equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)

• CSCS card (essential)

• SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred)

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Rate & Hours:

• Competitive day rate of £280 – £340 depending on experience

• Standard working hours, with potential for additional overtime
