Job Title: Site Engineer – Structures Project (12-Month Contract)
Location: Wood Green
Rate: £280 – £320 per day (DOE)
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract (12 Months)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Company Overview:
We are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a high-profile structures package in North London. Due to continued growth and workload, they are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support a key 12-month project in Enfield.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for delivering key structural elements on site, ensuring works are accurately set out, meet technical specifications, and are delivered safely and efficiently. This role suits someone confident working on reinforced concrete (RC), steel structures, and other civil engineering elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate setting out and surveying of works

  • Supervision and coordination of subcontractors

  • Ensuring compliance with technical drawings and specifications

  • Carrying out QA/QC inspections and maintaining site records

  • Liaising with the design and management teams to resolve site queries

  • Monitoring health and safety and reporting any issues

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related field

  • Proven experience on structural and/or civils projects

  • Proficient with Leica or Trimble instruments (Total Station, GPS)

  • Solid understanding of RC detailing and structural elements

  • Valid CSCS card (essential)

  • SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid (advantageous)

  • Right to work in the UK
