We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to support a busy utilities project in London. The role involves setting out and overseeing works related to water, gas, electric, and telecom installations. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced civils team delivering critical infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for trenching, ducting, and utility installation works

• Reading and interpreting utility drawings and client specifications

• Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with project and industry standards

• Completing as-built surveys and maintaining accurate site records

• Supporting the site team with permits, inspections, and technical guidance

• Liaising with subcontractors and the client to resolve site issues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in utilities (water, power, gas, or telecoms)

• Proficient with Leica or Trimble GPS/Total Station equipment

• CSCS card – essential

• SMSTS or SSSTS – desirable

• Good understanding of H&S and NRSWA principles

• Strong communication and reporting skills
