​We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to support the delivery of a water treatment project in Bristol working with a respected civil engineering contractor. This is a key role on a long-term framework with ongoing works in the region.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering site engineering duties across clean and wastewater infrastructure works, with a focus on quality, technical compliance, and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out for civil engineering works including pipelines, RC tanks, chambers, and associated infrastructure

Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Supporting site management in supervising subcontractors and suppliers

Completing as-built records, permits, and site documentation

Promoting and enforcing health and safety best practice on site

Liaising with project engineers, clients, and subcontractors

Requirements

Proven experience working on clean water / wastewater / WTW / WwTW projects

Proficient in setting out using GPS, robotic total stations, and AutoCAD

Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and site procedures

CSCS card (essential)

SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred)

Full UK driving licence

Availability to start within 1–2 weeks
