​We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Glasgow. This is a key role within the site team, starting on 5th January 2026, with an opportunity to work on a major renewable energy infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out, levelling and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications

• Managing and coordinating day-to-day site activities

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality

• Liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and project management teams

• Producing and maintaining accurate site records, including QA documentation

• Supporting RAMS, permits, and health & safety compliance

• Assisting with progress reporting and resolving technical issues on site

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil or energy infrastructure projects

• Previous experience on BESS, substations, or renewable energy projects preferred

• Strong knowledge of setting out using GPS/Total Station equipment

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Valid CSCS card

• SMSTS or SSSTS desirable

• Strong communication and organisational skills
