​We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a water treatment project in Manchester on a 12-month contract basis.

This role is ideal for a Site Engineer with strong setting-out and technical experience within the water or utilities sector, working closely with the Site Agent and project team to deliver works safely and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for civil engineering works on a water treatment project

• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications

• Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records

• Supporting daily site activities and coordinating with subcontractors

• Assisting with short-term planning and progress reporting

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on water or utilities projects

• Strong setting-out and surveying skills

• Good understanding of civil engineering and water treatment processes

• CSCS card essential

• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team

• Right to work in the UK
