​We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a live highways scheme in Oxford on a short-term contract.

Role Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways works including drainage, kerbing, surfacing and associated civils

• Working from drawings, specifications and RAMS

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and quality requirements

• Liaising with the site team, subcontractors and supervisors

• Completing as-built records and site documentation

• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways projects

• Strong setting-out skills (GPS/Total Station)

• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred

• CSCS card (essential)

• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

Package:

• £300 – £400 per day depending on experience

• Immediate start available

• 3-month contract with potential for extension
