We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways project in Dublin, starting immediately. This is a 6-month contract opportunity working on a large-scale highways scheme with a well-established contractor.

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK. They specialise in highways, major infrastructure, and civil works, delivering high-quality highways schemes safely and efficiently.

The successful Site Engineer will be working on a busy highways scheme in Dublin, supporting the delivery of key highways elements including earthworks, drainage, pavement construction, and associated highways infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a significant highways project with a recognised industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for highways works

• Managing subcontractors on site

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with highways specifications and programme

• Maintaining quality control and site records

• Supporting the site management team in delivering highways works safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering

• Proven experience working on highways projects

• Strong setting out experience

• Knowledge of highways specifications and standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
