Site Engineer – Highways Scheme (Bristol) – 6-Month Contract

Location: Bristol
Start Date: 7th April
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £300 – £350 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for highways works in line with project specifications
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
Managing and interpreting technical drawings and site documentation
Overseeing subcontractors and site activities
Conducting quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate site records
Supporting the site team with daily engineering duties
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects
Strong setting out and surveying skills
Competence with relevant equipment (e.g. GPS, total station)
CSCS card (essential)
SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
