Job description
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installation and delivery of a major District Heating / Heat Network project. This is a 2-year contract offering long-term stability on a large-scale, high-profile scheme.
You will be responsible for managing all electrical site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise electrical installation works across the district heating network and energy centre.
Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, CDM regulations, and company procedures.
Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Lead site progress meetings and provide daily/weekly reports.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Liaise closely with project managers, designers, and the wider site team.
Ensure high standards of quality, workmanship, and health & safety.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager, Electrical Supervisor, or M&E Site Manager.
Experience working on district heating, energy centres, heat networks, CHP, or large-scale M&E projects (essential).
ECS/CSCS & SMSTS (or SSSTS) certification.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, LV distribution, controls, BMS, and associated infrastructure.
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple teams and workstreams effectively.
Full UK driving licence.
