​About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our residential construction project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and supervision of all mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, ventilation).

• Prepare and review shop drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams.

• Supervise installation works and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

• Monitor project progress and report on milestones.

• Support commissioning and handover processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential building projects.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC design, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems.

• Familiarity with local authority regulations and international standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage site activities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise residential projects.

• Membership in a recognized engineering body.

• Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable building systems.
