Job description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation and commissioning activities on a major industrial project. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a strong track record in managing electrical teams on-site in industrial environments.
Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Supervision: Lead, manage, and supervise electrical installation and commissioning activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans, electrical codes, and safety standards.
Team Coordination: Supervise and mentor a team of electricians, contractors, and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Site Safety: Enforce site safety protocols, ensuring electrical work is carried out safely and in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning to ensure compliance with the project specifications and industry standards.
Material & Resource Management: Oversee the delivery, storage, and usage of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring proper inventory control and resource allocation.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including work completed, inspection reports, and safety logs.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the electrical team and project managers, ensuring smooth communication and project updates.
Electrical Supervisor Qualifications & Experience:
Gold ECS card
SSSTS / SMSTS
At least 3 years of experience supervising electrical work in industrial or construction projects (e.g., manufacturing, power plants, or large-scale industrial sites).
Strong understanding of electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
Demonstrated ability to manage and guide electrical teams on-site, ensuring productivity and safety.
In-depth knowledge of site safety practices and regulations, with a proven commitment to ensuring a safe work environment.
Excellent ability to identify issues and find effective solutions quickly.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and other project stakeholders.
