Electrical Supervisor 

About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of electrical works on a major industrial construction project. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on supervision, and the ability to drive safety, quality, and productivity across all site electrical activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate electricians and electrical subcontractors on site

  • Review drawings, specifications, cable schedules, and ensure installations comply with design and industry standards

  • Carry out regular inspections, quality checks, and ensure best practice is followed at all times

  • Work collaboratively with project managers, site managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure efficient workflow

  • Uphold strict health & safety requirements, including RAMS compliance, permits, isolations, and safe systems of work

  • Support electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities and ensure documentation is completed correctly

  • Monitor progress and productivity, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues where needed

  • Assist with snagging, defect resolution, and preparation for handover

  • Maintain accurate daily site records, labour tracking, and materials reporting

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor on industrial or large-scale construction projects

  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems (LV/MV distribution, motors, controls, instrumentation, etc.)

  • Proven supervisory and site coordination experience

  • Valid ECS Gold Card

  • SSSTS certification (SMSTS desirable)

  • Full UK Driving Licence
