​Electrical Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical installation works on commercial construction projects. Reporting to the Electrical Site Manager/Project Manager, you will play a key role in supervising site teams, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electricians and subcontractors on site

• Ensure electrical installations are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and current regulations

• Monitor progress against programme and report updates to management

• Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance

• Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings

• Inspect works to ensure quality control and resolve on-site issues

• Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

• Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover processes

• Maintain accurate site records and documentation

Electrical Supervisor Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial projects

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation practices

• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• ECS/CSCS card

• SSSTS (SMSTS advantageous)

• Good knowledge of current electrical regulations

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
