​We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Testerfor a commercial installation project in Slough. 

This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established electrical contractor on a high-spec commercial build. The role involves inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations to ensure compliance with BS 7671.

Electrical Tester Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical testing on commercial installations

• Complete and submit Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

• Ensure compliance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

• Diagnose faults and identify any remedial works

• Work alongside the site team to meet deadlines and safety standards

Electrical Tester Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation

• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing (essential)

• ECS Gold Card (JIB Approved)

• Experience in commercial electrical testing

• Strong understanding of current wiring regulations

• Own calibrated testing equipment
