​Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer for a 6-week contract based in Barking. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project with a reputable contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conductingsoil samplingand logging in accordance with relevant standards

• Supervising site investigations and drilling operations

• Interpreting geotechnical data and preparing factual reports

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

• Liaising with contractors, engineers, and site teams

• Supporting the project team with technical input on ground conditions

Requirements:

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in site-based geotechnical engineering

• Familiarity with UK ground investigation techniques and standards

• CSCS card required

• Strong communication and reporting skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
