​Health & Safety Supervisor / Advisor – Large Civils Scheme (Liverpool)
Start: Immediate | Freelance Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Supervisor/Advisor to join a major civils project based in Liverpool. This is an excellent freelance opportunity for an H&S professional with strong site knowledge and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day site administration duties

• Conduct and manage site inductions for all personnel

• Ensure full RAMS compliance across all activities

• Carry out and coordinate site audits

• Maintain and update all site documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Identify, investigate and resolve site issues or non-conformances promptly

• Work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to uphold high H&S standards

Requirements:

• Strong background in civil engineering / civils projects

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role on major construction schemes

• Excellent understanding of site processes, documentation, and compliance

• Ability to start immediately and commit on a freelance basis

• Strong communication and organisational skills
