Job description

​We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a prestigious luxury hotel development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark project known for its exceptional quality and innovative design.

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee the coordination, installation, and commissioning of all mechanical systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical services including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire suppression systems.

  • Ensure all mechanical works meet design specifications, project timelines, and budget requirements.

  • Lead daily site coordination with subcontractors and the wider construction team.

  • Maintain rigorous health & safety standards, including toolbox talks and risk assessments.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and carry out regular inspections.

  • Report progress, technical issues, and resource requirements to the site/project manager.

  • Assist in the commissioning process and system handovers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supervising mechanical works on high-end residential or hospitality projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical building services and installation practices.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documentation.

  • Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, Degree).

  • CSCS Gold Card – REQUIRED.

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification preferred.
