​Non working Foreman – Groundworks & Civil Engineering
Location: 3 sites across Fife
Start Date: Immediate

My client are an established and growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor currently seeking an experienced Foreman to join their team on a permanent basis and cover their sites in Fife. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual looking for ongoing work with an immediate start.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage groundworks and civil engineering operatives on site

• Oversee daily site activities to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to programme

• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors as required

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and method statements

• Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality control, and site housekeeping

• Communicate effectively with site managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain progress

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Foreman within groundworks and/or civil engineering

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Valid CSCS card

• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification preferred

• First Aid qualification desirable but not essential

• A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety and quality
