We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a large-scale groundworks and civil engineering scheme based in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a driven individual to join a well-established contractor on a major project starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full project management of a large-scale groundworks/civils package

• Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Overseeing programme delivery, budgets, and quality standards

• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with HSEQ requirements

• Liaising with clients, engineers, and senior management

• Reporting progress and managing risks and variations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within groundworks and civil engineering

• Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, drainage, roads, and associated civils works

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Ability to manage large teams and complex programmes

• Full UK driving licence
