About the Role

We are seeking an experiencedProject Manager / Project Directorto lead the delivery of majorhigh-rise construction projectsin Birmingham, from early planning through to final handover. This is a senior position suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong track record delivering complex multi-storey developments, and can drive excellence across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of high-rise construction projects, from pre-construction and procurement to delivery, commissioning, and completion.

  • Manage project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with programme, quality, safety, and budget targets.

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and progress reporting.

  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, designers, and supply chain partners.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practice.

  • Solve complex site and design challenges to maintain project momentum.

  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and safety-driven culture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience overseeinghigh-rise or large-scale residential/commercial projectsfrom start to finish.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

  • Excellent commercial awareness and contract management capabilities (e.g., JCT, NEC).

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and drive successful outcomes on tight programmes.

  • Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or project management (preferred but not essential if experience is strong).
