​Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a reinforced concrete (RC) structures project in Leeds. This role is offered on an Outside IR35 basis and provides a strong opportunity for ongoing work within a reputable civil engineering contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for RC structures and associated civil works

• Interpreting drawings and ensuring accurate implementation on site

• Managing quality control and preparing as-built documentation

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the design team

• Ensuring works are delivered to programme and safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on RC frame or civil projects

• Proficient with Total Station, GPS, and AutoCAD

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results

Contract Details:

• IR35 Status: Outside IR35

• Duration: 8 months

• Rate: £310 – £380 per day (DOE)

• Location: Leeds

• Start: Immediate
