​We are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a major heavy civils project in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role on a complex infrastructure scheme with a well-established civil engineering contractor. The position is offered Outside IR35and is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification

• Overseeing site teams, engineers, and subcontractors

• Reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure accurate delivery of works

• Monitoring progress, cost, and quality performance

• Producing reports, method statements, and risk assessments

• Liaising closely with clients, project managers, and design teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent on heavy civil engineering or infrastructure projects

• Strong technical understanding of earthworks, drainage, and reinforced concrete structures

• Civil Engineering degree or HNC/HND equivalent

• CSCS card and SMSTS certification

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Contract Details:

• IR35 Status: Outside IR35

• Duration: 12 months (potential extension)

• Rate: £450 – £520 per day (DOE)

• Location: Exeter

• Start: Immediate
