​We are recruiting an experienced Site Agent to work on a major tunnel and shaft project utilising SCL (Sprayed Concrete Lining)techniques. This is a long-term opportunity on a technically challenging civil engineering scheme with a well-established contractor.

You will take responsibility for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of tunnelling and shaft construction works using SCL methods

• Supervision of subcontractors and direct labour

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

• Short-term planning, RAMS, and permits to work

• Coordination with engineers, site teams, and project management

• Progress reporting and input into programme and cost control

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with specifications and design

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Agent on tunnelling and shaft projects

• Strong background in SCL / sprayed concrete works

• Solid civil engineering and heavy infrastructure experience

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid

• Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable)

• Ability to manage complex works in a high-risk environment
