​Job Title: Site Engineer – Sewage Treatment Works

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major Sewage Treatment Works (STW) project based in Suffolk. This is a long-term contract offering 12 months of work with competitive day rates, working on a high-profile infrastructure scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for civils packages including concrete works, pipelines, and MEICA installations

• Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification

• Managing quality assurance, method statements, risk assessments, and daily site records

• Ensuring compliance with project drawings and specifications

• Liaising with subcontractors, design teams and client representatives

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on water or wastewater projects (preferably within the UK Water Industry)

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline

• CSCS card (essential)

• SMSTS/SSSTS (advantageous)

• Proficient in AutoCAD and setting out using total stations and GPS
