Day Rate: £300–£350 (Outside IR35)

Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a Roads & Highways project in Wokingham. This is a 6-month contract role offering immediate start and a competitive day rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for highways and roadworks packages

• Supervising subcontractors and site teams

• Ensuring works are carried out according to design specifications and standards

• Supporting the site management team in delivering to programme

• QA checks, site diaries, and progress reporting

• Maintaining site health & safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects

• Strong setting out and surveying skills (Total Station/GPS)

• CSCS card (essential)

• SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid (desirable)

• Right to work in the UK

• Full UK Driving Licence
