​We are recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for a Site Engineer to support a large-scale earthworks package in Edinburgh. This is a long-term contract offering 12 months of consistent work, starting on 7th July.

Role Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for bulk earthworks and associated civil engineering works

• Ensuring compliance with technical drawings and specifications

• Maintaining accurate records including ITPs, RAMS, and as-built surveys

• Supporting the site team with daily engineering input and problem-solving

• Upholding site health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements:

• Experience on large-scale earthworks or civils projects

• Proficiency with GPS and Total Station equipment

• CSCS card required

• SSSTS/SMSTS preferred

• HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Contract Details:

• Start Date: 7th July

• Duration: 12 months

• Location: Edinburgh

• Rate: £350 – £400 per day
