​Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a major highways scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile infrastructure project with a well-established civil engineering contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for highways works including drainage, earthworks, kerbing, and surfacing

• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and health & safety requirements

• Managing quality control, documentation, and record keeping

• Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors, and design teams to ensure smooth progress on site

• Assisting with ITPs and site reporting

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil infrastructure projects

• Proficiency in the use of setting out equipment (e.g. GPS, total stations)

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications

• CSCS card (essential)

• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• Full UK Driving Licence
