​Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major Earthworks package based in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a long-term scheme with a reputable firm, working on a technically challenging project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for bulk earthworks, cut/fill operations, drainage, and formation

• Ensuring site records and as-builts are maintained accurately

• Managing QA, ITPs, and site documentation

• Liaising with the site team, subcontractors, and surveyors

• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Site Engineer in civil/earthworks projects

• Strong setting-out skills with total station and GPS equipment

• CSCS card (essential)

• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• Excellent communication and team coordination skills

• Immediate availability

Package:

• Competitive day rate:£250 – £320, depending on experience

• Long-term freelance role
