​We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major highways project based in Coventry. This is a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, offering competitive daily rates of £350 - £400, depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily engineering activities across the highways project

• Ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications and programme

• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and the client

• Conduct inspections, surveys and maintain accurate site records

• Assist in resolving any technical issues on site

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects

• Strong understanding of highways construction, drainage, and earthworks

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering

• CSCS card (required), SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
