We are currently recruiting for experienced operatives to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a majorearthworks and water infrastructure packageinDurham. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile heavy civils project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of large-scale earthworks and water infrastructure schemes

• Operate plant and machinery (where qualified)

• Support groundworks, drainage, and excavation activities

• Work from site drawings, RAMS, and method statements

• Collaborate effectively with site teams, supervisors, and engineers

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in heavy civils, earthworks, or water-related projects (e.g. pumping stations, attenuation systems, large excavations)

• CSCS card (essential)

• CPCS/NPORS tickets (desirable) for plant such as Excavator, Dumper, Roller, or Dozer

• Reliable and proactive approach to site work

• Full UK driving licence preferred
