​The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to support a large-scale Energy-to-Waste facility in Barnsley. This is a long-term freelance role offering consistent workload on a technically challenging industrial project. You will play a key role in delivering accurate engineering support across civils, structural and mechanical interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for civils, structural works and associated infrastructure

• Managing QA, site documentation and as-built records

• Supporting the Site/Project Manager with coordination and technical input

• Interpreting drawings and resolving on-site engineering queries

• Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring quality compliance

• Ensuring all works meet health & safety standards

Requirements

• Strong background as a Site Engineer on major industrial, energy or civils projects

• Confident with Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD and QA systems

• CSCS card (essential)

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Availability to start 8th December
