​The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Bishop Auckland. This is a long-term role offering a full year of work on a well-resourced civils project, covering road construction, drainage, structures and associated works.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for highways, drainage, kerbs and associated civils

• Completing QA documentation, as-builts and site records

• Providing technical support to the Site and Project Managers

• Checking drawings and resolving engineering queries

• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring work meets specification

• Upholding all site health & safety requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience on highways / civils projects

• Proficient with Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD

• Strong understanding of drainage, earthworks and road construction

• CSCS card (essential)

• Available to start 1st December
